After you've decided to play....go get set up. Make your bottom wait for you to get set up. After you've got everything ready ....go get your partner, bring her or him over, look directly in their eyes....and ask this: do you need to use the bathroom? If so....off they go. If not, take off their clothes, put on the wrist and ankle cuffs and tie them to the rack....if that's what your using. YOU are now ready to get this scene off and running.
Now the reason you make your partner wait while you set up is start up that apprehension in your bottom....what you might do to her or him. That apprehension will start the level you need to ramp up to the level you want to get them too.
Remember....go slow up the grade....the bottom can usually take more. No surprises....otherwise you'll cause a split in their journey....ramp up....and when you think you have your bottom close...give a breather, a caress....for assurance and building trust. Then start up the ramp again.
